About The Position
As Wound Ostomy Incontinence Nurse, you will be responsible for the overall development, implementation, and ongoing modification of system wide programs to assure evidence-based skin, wound, ostomy and continence care. Provide direct patient care and education to selected patients. Serve as a clinical consultant. Support staff development in areas of expertise to all members of the interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 2 years of clinical practice within the last 4 years.
- Current RN license in California.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certificate.
- Graduate of an accredited school of WOCN or Wound Care Certification (WCC) or WCC or WOCN education in progress with completion within 2 years of hire.
