About The Position

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Wound Nurses | RNs to join their team. This role is responsible for the community’s general application of the skin management program and delivering safe, efficient, and effective treatment for various wounds. The Wound Nurse will assess wounds, create and implement treatment plans, monitor for infections, and clean wounds.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing.
• Prior Wound Care experience required.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing specialized treatments in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the community’s general application of the skin management program.
• Deliver safe, efficient, and effective treatment to heal various types of wounds, including surgical openings, ulcers, bed sores, feeding tube sites, and abscesses.
• Assess wounds.
• Create and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor infections and signs of various infections.
• Clean wounds.
