Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS certification through AHA Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- For the minimum education, certification, licensure or degree in a medical field, preference is given to the following areas: Patient Care Tech, Athletic Training, Certified Nursing Assistant, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician, or Medical Assistant
- 1 year of patient care experience
- 2 years direct care with patients including wound dressing and assisting with minor surgical procedures
- Ability to perform diagnostic testing and checklist completion
- Experience with Doppler use
- Experience in billing and use of databases
Responsibilities
- Provides and documents direct patient care for patients under the direct supervision of a wound care clinician or provider.
- The care will include a safe, comfortable and confidential environment.
