Requirements

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS certification through AHA Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

Certification, licensure or degree in a medical field, preference is given to the following areas: Patient Care Tech, Athletic Training, Certified Nursing Assistant, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician, or Medical Assistant Preferred
1 year of patient care experience Preferred
2 years direct care with patients including wound dressing and assisting with minor surgical procedures Preferred
Ability to perform diagnostic testing and checklist completion Preferred
Experience with Doppler use Preferred
Experience in billing and use of databases Preferred

Responsibilities

Provides and documents direct patient care for patients under the direct supervision of a wound care clinician or provider.
Ensures a safe, comfortable and confidential environment for patients.
Cares for patients ranging from adult through geriatric, with occasional infants through pediatric patients.
