About The Position
Carlton Shores Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a Wound Care Nurse to join their team in Daytonna Beach, FL. This facility provides top-of-the-line care and rehabilitation services designed around residents' needs, with personalized care plans in a close-knit community.
Requirements
- Must be a RN in good standing and currently licensed by the state where our facility is located (FL)
- Minimum of one years experience in long-term care setting
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to, and be an example of teamwork.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform wound assessments, reassessment, and management for all residents.
- Create plan of care including goals, treatment, evaluation and outcomes of residents.
- Provide education to residents, family, and staff regarding wound management, prevention, support, and other therapies.
- Direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs and other nursing personnel.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill to develop and implement policies and procedures to manage residents with wounds.
- Included in the On Call rotation
