About The Position
Ovation Communities is seeking a talented and experienced Wound Care RN to join our team. In this role you facilitate treatment, healing and recovery for our residents with wound care issues. You will also be responsible for educating staff on wound care prevention and helping family members with questions on healthy habits to prevent wounds.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Associates degree as a Registered Nurse
- Valid Wisconsin nurse license
- At least two (2) years of experience working as a Wound Care RN, preferably in in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong assessment and analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Administer treatments and procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure that residents are medicated prior to treatments when appropriate
- Assist with admissions process and wound care assessments.
- Educate staff and family on wound care treatment and prevention.
