About The Position

The Wound Care Nurse works in harmony with the nursing staff assessing, treating, and creating care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and/or continence conditions. The company is seeking a Full-Time Wound Care RN to join their clinical team.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the state (as required)
• 1-2 years wound care experience required
• Reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred
• 1+ years of long term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
• Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.
