Wound Care Physician - McAllen, TX
About The Position
The Wound Care Physician will provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The role involves physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, providing expertise for clinical excellence. Physicians will deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting, specifically in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, seeing approximately 20-30 patients per day across 2-3 facilities. Clinical documentation is done at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
