Wound Care Physician - Colorado Springs, CO
About The Position
The Wound Care Physician will provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. This role involves conducting weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Physicians will utilize a proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation at the point of care. The position offers significant clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Comprehensive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship are provided.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.
