Wound Care Physician
About The Position
Skilled Wound Care is a leading national wound care physician group in Tucson, AZ, seeking motivated and driven Surgeons of all backgrounds, Family Medicine physicians, and Internal Medicine physicians to join their team. As an experienced or new physician to wound care, you will manage patient outcomes based on your clinical expertise and direction. You will provide comprehensive care to patients in nursing facilities, utilizing the latest advancements in wound healing, including debridement, advanced dressings, and application of amniotic tissue. The company provides comprehensive physician wound care training, including 36 hours of company-provided CME, conferences, workshops, and online courses. The role offers excellent compensation with full-time physicians earning an average starting pay of $250,000 - $300,000 annually, with the potential to earn up to $400,000 with additional services and performance-based bonuses. There is no earning cap. Compensation includes per-patient visit pay, per-procedure pay, a quarterly bonus program with the potential to earn up to 30% extra income, and reimbursement for the application of biological skin substitutes. The role has no call requirements, and physicians work with their team to build a schedule that works for them. A custom software system is provided to reduce physician admin and documentation time. Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- You do not need to have completed a full residency program.
- You do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible.
