About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is a leading national wound care physician group in Sacramento, CA, seeking motivated and driven Surgeons of all backgrounds, Family Medicine physicians, and Internal Medicine physicians to join their team. The role involves managing patient outcomes based on clinical expertise and direction, providing comprehensive care to patients in nursing facilities using the latest advancements in wound healing. The company offers comprehensive physician wound care training, including CME, conferences, workshops, and online courses. Physicians will utilize a custom software system designed to reduce administrative and documentation time. Wound care is described as a dynamic and ever-advancing field with new biological therapies being adopted.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Do not need to have completed a full residency program.
Do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible.

Responsibilities

Manage patient outcomes based on clinical expertise and direction.
Provide comprehensive care to patients in nursing facilities.
Utilize the latest advancements in wound healing, including debridement, advanced dressings, and application of amniotic tissue.
Apply biological skin substitutes.

Full-time physicians can earn an average starting pay of $250,000 -$300,000 annually.
Earn up to $400,000 with additional services and performance-based bonuses.
