About The Position

NHC HealthCare Milan is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join its nursing team as a Wound Care Nurse. The role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care that promotes healing, comfort, and quality of life. Current Wound Care Certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment. The position is full-time at the Milan, Tennessee location, with competitive pay based on experience and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
Current Wound Care Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Previous wound care or long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure accurate patient assessments and coordinated care.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Assess, monitor, and document wounds and healing progress.
Provide and oversee appropriate wound care treatments according to established standards and physician orders.
Maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Assist with medication administration and treatments as needed.
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Perform additional nursing and patient care duties as assigned.
