About The Position

NHC HealthCare Moulton is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide wound care and support patient healing, comfort, and quality of life. The role involves collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team, assessing and monitoring wounds, delivering treatments, and contributing to individualized patient care plans. Current wound care certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment. The position is full-time in Moulton, Alabama, with pay listed as $23 for LPNs and $32 for RNs, based on experience, and a $10,000 full-time sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license valid to practice in Alabama.
Current Wound Care Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

Previous wound care or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure accurate patient assessments and coordinated care.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Assess, monitor, and document wounds and healing progress.
Provide and oversee appropriate wound care treatments according to established standards and physician orders.
Maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Assist with medication administration and treatments as needed.
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Perform additional nursing and patient care duties as assigned.
