Requirements
- 2 years of dedicated Wound Care experience in an acute facility setting.
- Current, active certification in one of the following: Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN), Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON), Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN), Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), or Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC).
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized wound care expertise to accelerate patient healing, recovery, and overall quality of life.
- Make independent decisions regarding patient care based on expertise and instincts.
- Experiment with treatment approaches as a trusted expert.
