Wound Care Nurse (RN) Full Time
About The Position
AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque seeks a Full Time Wound Care Nurse (RN) who evaluates new and existing in/out patient’s wound and monitors and treats the wound as per treatment policies and procedures. Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient’s condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- Acute care experience is preferred.
- Current certification of Wound Care preferred.
