Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years of experience in wound care management, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Certification in wound care (CWOCN or similar) is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative work style.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage time efficiently.
- A passion for resident-centered care and a commitment to continuous learning.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in wound care (CWOCN or similar)
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents with chronic or acute wounds.
- Implement and monitor effective wound healing strategies, utilizing a variety of dressings and therapies.
- Educate staff on proper wound care techniques and best practices.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care and compliance with regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based wound care protocols.
