The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role involves conducting thorough wound assessments, developing evidence-based treatment plans, performing debridement and specialized procedures, educating patients on care techniques, collaborating with dermatologists on multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining detailed electronic records.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- 3+ years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner
- Proficiency in wound assessment and debridement techniques
- Experience with advanced dressings and dermatological wound conditions
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Active state NP license and DEA registration
