About The Position
NHC HealthCare Milan is now hiring a full-time Wound Care Nurse to join our team! The Wound Care Nurse will assess and evaluate patients with wounds, ostomies, pressure injuries, and other skin-related conditions. This nurse will perform wound care procedures, help ensure high-quality patient care, provide education to prevent pressure injuries and infections, and coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Current Tennessee LPN or RN license
- Wound care certification
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Must be dependable and work well as part of a team
- A genuine desire to care for geriatric patients
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients with wounds, ostomies, pressure injuries, and other skin-related conditions.
- Perform wound care procedures.
- Help ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide education to prevent pressure injuries and infections.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
