About The Position

As a relatively new and growing 26 bed rehab hospital, we are committed to setting new standards in patient care and rehabilitation. We value compassion, excellence, and teamwork, and we are looking for a compassionate, experienced Wound Care LVN to join our team. The regular schedule for this position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Wednesdays and Sundays are typically off, with occasional on-call availability required on Sundays.
Requirements
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of employment required.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in Wound Care encouraged within 1 year of hire
- One (1) year experience in wound care preferred.
- Previous experience working in wound care or demonstrated interest and aptitude in wound care skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ability to identify and implement components of the nursing process.
- Identify learning needs and teach patients and families.
