World Language Teacher 26/27 School Year
About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and innovative World Language teacher to join our team at FlexTech High School - Shepherd for the 26/27 school year. This is not a traditional teaching role. FlexTech is a small, project-based high school built around strong relationships, real-world learning, and student independence. Our teachers act as advisors, mentors, and collaborators. They guide students through personalized, competency-based learning rather than delivering one-size-fits-all instruction. The ideal candidate believes all students can succeed and learn a language other than English in the right environment and is excited to design meaningful, project based learning experiences that connect to the real world. This role requires flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to work closely with students in both small groups and one-on-one settings. If you are passionate about speaking foreign languages and teaching the language and culture of other people, and if you care deeply about building strong relationships, collaborating with a team, rethinking what high school can look like, and making learning more relevant for students, we’d love to have you join us.
