About The Position

This is a .2 FTE French position at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. The role involves supplementing instructional programs to meet student needs, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, communicating with parents/guardians, keeping accurate student records, collaborating with various stakeholders, and monitoring student achievement. The position also requires attending ongoing professional learning and meetings.

Requirements

• Teaching experience in the above mentioned area
• Knowledge of best instructional practices
• Ability to integrate technology
• Experience in educational and instructional leadership
• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure
• Endorsement in French PreK-12

Nice To Haves

• Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
