About The Position
Granby Public Schools is seeking applications for a passionate and dedicated world language educator and leader to join our team. The World Language Department Chair/Teacher will provide leadership, coordination and innovation to the world language teachers at both Granby Memorial Middle and High School. Along with teaching Spanish and/or French classes, the Department Chair will assist with department evaluations, budget, curriculum and provide mentorship for new teachers.
Requirements
- Valid 092 and either Spanish (023) and French (018) CSDE certifications.
- Minimum three years teaching experience in content area.
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to candidates certified in both Spanish and French.
- TEAM mentor.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coordination and innovation to the world language teachers at both Granby Memorial Middle and High School.
