Mad Science of Washington DC is seeking energetic and dynamic individuals to lead interactive science workshops for elementary school-aged children. This role involves traveling to various locations to deliver engaging, hands-on science experiences. No prior science degree is required, as comprehensive training is provided. This position is ideal for those seeking a fun, supplemental income with a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Experience with children (teacher, camp counselor, tutor, actor, youth group leader).
- Ability to command a room of energetic kids and keep them engaged.
- Outgoing, animated, and willing to be silly.
- Flexible schedule.
- Reliable transportation to transport workshop kits.
- Must have own reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-energy, interactive science workshops and demonstrations for elementary school-aged children.
- Travel to various schools, community centers, and event locations across the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.
- Turn complex science concepts into unforgettable, hands-on fun.
