The Workplace Experience, Facilities & Operations Lead is a highly accountable individual contributor role responsible for the day-to-day performance, feel, and functionality of Ancestry’s Draper HQ. This role owns facilities operations while keeping the broader employee and workplace experience front and center in every decision—from how the space operates to how employees experience their workday. This role requires a strong ownership mindset and proactive approach. The Lead anticipates needs, solves problems before they escalate, and continuously looks for ways to improve how the workplace supports people and the business. This role is designed as a highly autonomous, player-coach individual contributor role with day-to-day operational ownership of Draper HQ. While the position may oversee one direct report as part of the current operating model, the primary emphasis of the role is hands-on leadership, execution, cross-functional partnership, and accountability for workplace and facilities outcomes. The Lead works in close partnership with the Program Manager of Workplace Experience to actively support and execute workplace experience initiatives.
