About The Position

The Workforce Strategy Manager partners with TEMPO, HR, Finance, and Business Offices to design and execute the workforce strategy for the TD&O Wholesale Division. This role ensures alignment between business objectives and workforce planning by driving initiatives across strategic workforce planning, job architecture, skills development, capacity management, and location strategy. The manager also leads efforts to enhance teammate engagement and deliver training programs that support organizational growth and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree and eight years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience to include general business management, consulting-type work, human resources, or other disciplines related to business management and/or technology.
  • In-depth and broad knowledge within own professional discipline, such as finance, project management, change management, strategy development, etc.
  • Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges, and apply best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges.
  • Experience managing a team, including identifying and recruiting talent, managing performance, and making decisions about resource allocation.
  • Executive level communication skills, including negotiation, persuasion and ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective and handle interpersonal issues with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Director of Workforce Management, Planning, & Engagement and leadership team to help set ET global workforce strategy for and apply strategy within ET business units in partnership with broader TIP team and BMOs.
  • Lead execution of ET workforce, talent, and/or engagement programs across ET and/or within designated ET business unit with a focus on balancing risk, sustainability, and financial targets to optimize ET’s workforce (including FTE, CW onshore and offshore) in partnership with ET Cost & Supplier Management.
  • Partner across TIP/ BMOs and with HR to influence and leverage enterprise-wide human capital programs, customizing for ET-specific business needs where required to support ET’s strategic plan.
  • Develop and mature appropriate metrics in partnership with ET Business Performance & Metrics to holistically report on ET’s workforce, talent, and engagement programs to ensure workplace requirements support staffing needs.
  • Explore, recommend, and implement opportunities for continuous business process improvement across workforce management, planning, and engagement, both within TIP and ET BMOs, with a one team mindset.
  • Communicate ongoing work, short-term outcomes, and long-term impacts with ET leaders, across TIP and ET BMOs, and with HR partners at a regular cadence to support ET’s strategic plan, in partnership with ET OCM support.
  • Proactively partner to identify and mitigate risks associated with ET’s workforce.
  • Fully participate Workforce Management, Planning, & Engagement operating model and potentially lead projects including technology, process, efficiency, and departmental initiatives.
  • Manage direct reports, including teammates and contractors (as needed).
