We’re currently recruiting a 0.8 FTE Primary Care Float Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide coverage across Workforce Health primary care clinics located on-site at employers in southeastern Wisconsin. The Workforce Health on-site clinic practice is very collegial, collaborative, and consultative with exceptional support staff. The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership between Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting a shared mission of patient care, innovation, medical research, and education. Our health network operates eastern Wisconsin's only academic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center engaged in thousands of clinical trials and studies. Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred
- For Nurse Practitioners: A master’s degree in nursing is required. Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program is required.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- For Nurse Practitioners: Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing is required.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required.
- For Nurse Practitioners: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible to obtain.
- For Physician Assistant: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred
- For Physician Assistant: Bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies is required.
- For Physician Assistant: Current State certification as a PA; current DEA.
- For Physician Assistant: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.
- For Physician Assistant: Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible to obtain.
