About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, engaging Instructor of HVAC to join our instructional team on a part time, as needed basis. In this role, you will deliver high quality technical training that prepares adult learners for careers in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. The ideal candidate brings hands on experience in installation, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics. This position supports workforce development efforts by preparing learners for employment and industry credentials.

Requirements

• Associate degree in HVAC or related field
• 5+ years of HVAC industry experience
• EPA certification required
• EPA certification required
• Valid Driver's License (A valid driver’s license is required. Travel within the Central Pennsylvania region may be necessary.)

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience teaching or training adult learners preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction in HVAC systems, diagnostics, and installation practices
• Emphasize safety, code compliance, and proper tool usage
• Provide meaningful, timely feedback on learner performance
• Record attendance and maintain accurate course documentation
• Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum and employer needs
• Performs other duties as assigned.
