AriensCo is seeking a Workforce Development Trainer to lead the new hire experience from day one through the first 90 days of employment. This role serves as a key connection between new team members, supervisors, and support functions to ensure employees receive the training, resources, and support needed to succeed. Through effective onboarding, employee engagement, and retention initiatives, this position helps create a positive employee experience while accelerating productivity and reducing turnover.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to facilitate training and engage groups of employees.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in training, onboarding, employee engagement, human resources, or workforce development.
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Associate's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate HR orientation and onboarding programs for all new employees.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities with Safety, Operations, and Training teams to ensure a consistent experience across departments.
  • Monitor new hire progress during the first 90 days and ensure completion of required training and orientation activities.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve onboarding content, materials, and processes.
  • Conduct regular touchpoints and stay interviews with new hires to identify concerns, answer questions, and address barriers to success.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees during their transition into AriensCo.
  • Partner with supervisors and managers to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Identify turnover trends and recommend actions to improve the employee experience.
  • Educate employees on career growth and development opportunities within AriensCo.
  • Encourage participation in training and development programs.
  • Support employees and supervisors in creating development plans and identifying career pathways.
  • Conduct exit interviews for employees who separate during their first year of employment.
  • Analyze onboarding, engagement, and retention data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to site leadership regarding workforce engagement and retention.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to workforce stability and employee experience.
  • Act as a liaison between new employees, supervisors, HR, Training, and Operations.
  • Facilitate communication and feedback between employees and leadership.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
