POSITION SUMMARY The Workforce Development Supervisor supports the achievement of organization-wide strategic goals in delivering and overseeing high-quality development programs for EAH. Responsible for following EAMC standards of behavior for leadership and reports directly to the Manager of Workforce Development. Provides authoritative advice and guidance on organization wide recruitment, retention, and development efforts. Has knowledge of organizational objectives/functions and regulatory requirements sufficient to analyze workforce development needs and strategies, ensure legal compliance of assigned responsibilities and modify/adapt conventional recruitment, retention, and development techniques to solve a variety of workforce challenges. Work requires strong healthcare expertise and understanding of the workforce needs of the organization sufficient to deliver relevant workforce development strategies. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to gain consensus for new/changing initiative/systems/programs and ensures delivery of high-quality recruitment, retention, and development programs that meet regulatory standards, organizational needs, and are relevant, accurate, and effective. Coordinates and provides oversight for day-to-day activities to supervise, guide, and support WFD staff and student-affiliated roles. Oversees routine operational functions, and ensures timely and accurate execution of program activities, documentation, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Education, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or related field)
  • Five (5) years-experience in healthcare-related field.
  • Holds current license in healthcare related field
  • BLS within 90 days of hire or transfer if applicable to license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong skills in scheduling, communication, and multi-project management

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred (Healthcare Leadership, Education, Nursing, Organizational Learning, or similar)
  • 3-5 years of Supervisory or team lead experience preferred, preferably experience in WFD/healthcare education/program coordination lead experience
