About The Position

This role is for a contracted employment and training provider focused on supporting individuals, particularly returning citizens, in their journey towards employment. The core responsibilities include establishing referral and scheduling processes, assessing participant needs, providing job readiness coaching, connecting participants to training and employment opportunities, and tracking key outcomes. The position requires coordination with a Reentry Navigator while maintaining participant privacy and professional boundaries.

Requirements

• Serve returning citizens or jobseekers facing significant employment barriers.
• Established relationships with Baltimore-area employers, training providers, or apprenticeship programs.
• Knowledge of fair-chance hiring, record-related employment barriers, workforce funding, supportive-service resources, and measurable outcome reporting.
• 30 budgeted hours at $50/hour.
• Deliver one readiness workshop.

Responsibilities

• Create a referral and scheduling process with RRB.
• Assess each participant’s employment interests, skills, work history, documentation needs, barriers, and training readiness.
• Provide job-readiness coaching, resume and application support, interview preparation, and workplace-expectations guidance.
• Connect participants to occupational training, apprenticeships, credential programs, fair-chance employers, and appropriate supportive services.
• Deliver the budgeted workforce-readiness workshop.
• Track referrals, engagement, training enrollment, interviews, placement, and other agreed outcomes.
• Coordinate with the Reentry Navigator on barriers and follow-up while maintaining participant privacy and clear professional boundaries.
