About The Position

The Workforce Development Lead Hands (Night) assist in the coordination of training, recertification and sign-off of employees to maintain a safe, aware, and knowledgeable workforce adhering to health and safety, food safety and organizational standards. The Lead Hand will report directly to the Training Supervisor.

Requirements

Previous Eden Valley Poultry experience.
Ability to do various jobs in production.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Ability to communicate logically ordered objectives.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work as a team.

Nice To Haves

Experience with MS Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

Process applicable paperwork and update training tracking files.
Co-ordinate training plan with trainers.
Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
Communicate job standards and expectations with the trainee.
Assist trainers, provide direction, guidance and assign work.
Work in job rotation as required.
Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure training meets quality standards.
Determine and report employee training progress to the appropriate authority.
Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency, reporting any issues to the applicable Supervisor.
Participate in educational and training opportunities applicable to the position.
