About The Position

The Workforce Development Intern supports manufacturing and operations teams through data analysis, training development, and workforce capability initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in curriculum development, training tools, and operational analytics while contributing to Nissan’s commitment to innovation, talent development, and the future of mobility.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Currently enrolled in and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Education, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (No sponsorship available).
  • Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire; Nissan uses E-Verify to validate employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Support operational effectiveness through data analysis, needs assessments, and training gap identification.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of training curricula and learning materials.
  • Build and support training aids, devices, or tools to enhance learning delivery.
  • Conduct research related to workforce development initiatives and assist with training design and potential facilitation.
