About The Position

The intern will work closely with the Workforce and Integration Department, gaining hands-on experience in employment services and data entry, and supporting employment specialists with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. The internship will provide exposure to workforce management systems. The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to the day -to-day operations, helping with data management and ensuring smooth communication between teams. This role will foster growth in administrative skills, data organization, and understanding of employment processes.

Requirements

  • Multilingual or bilingual in one or more of the following languages is preferred: Spanish, French, Dari, Pashto, or Haitian Creole.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

  • Develop communication skills by reaching out to employers and maintaining relationships.
  • Learn how to organize and maintain important documents and client records.

Responsibilities

  • Work individually with clients to create, update, and review resumes, job searching, networking opportunities, and interview preparation.
  • Support the Workforce team with a variety of projects and administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and database quality assurance.
  • Reach out to potential employers to discuss job opportunities for clients.
  • Assist in maintaining communication with employers about job openings.
  • Help prepare paperwork and documents needed for job applications, client profiles, and employer communication.
