About The Position

Installed Building Products (IBP) is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Specialist to join our team. This is a hybrid role, and candidates must reside in Columbus, Ohio, to be considered. The role involves administering claims by working directly with the insurance company claims management team, injured workers, medical facilities, and branch locations. The specialist will serve as the point of contact for company branch locations concerning workers’ compensation claims, maintain the workers’ compensation database and claim files, and assist with OSHA recordkeeping and accident investigations. Participation in claim review meetings with the insurance broker and carrier is also a key responsibility. Occasional overnight travel for meetings may be required. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations; multi-state experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• 1-3 years of experience in workers' compensation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
