Requirements

- Experience with case management software and document management systems like iManage.

- Familiarity with legal research techniques and legal terminology relevant to workers’ compensation law.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Effective client communication skills to provide clear updates and professional support.
- Knowledge of law office procedures including filing, document management, and client service standards.
- Technical proficiency in legal discovery processes and familiarity with relevant court procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and represent clients at workers' compensation hearings, ensuring all procedural requirements are met.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, utilizing precise legal terminology.
- Manage case files using case management software and document management systems such as iManage.
- Review and proofread all case-related documents to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, and other stakeholders regarding case status and procedural updates.
- Enter data accurately into case management systems, maintaining comprehensive records of all case activities.
