These are law firm workers’ compensation defense attorney roles focused on representing employers, insurance carriers, TPAs, corporations, and institutional clients in workers’ compensation litigation matters. Candidates must be licensed attorneys (JD required) with workers’ compensation defense, insurance defense, or related litigation experience. They should be comfortable independently managing litigation files and hearings and possess strong communication, litigation, and case management skills. These roles are not suitable for plaintiff-only candidates unwilling to transition into defense work, transactional attorneys, or candidates without litigation or administrative hearing experience. The opportunities involve WCAB hearings, depositions, settlement negotiations, trial preparation, claims strategy, and direct client interaction with employers, insurance carriers, TPAs, and institutional clients in both California and Midwest defense practices.
