About The Position

Sedgwick is seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Examiner to analyze lost-time workers’ compensation claims for a dedicated client. The role determines benefits due and ensures claims are adjudicated within service expectations, industry best practices, and client-specific service requirements. The position is hybrid for candidates within commuting distance of the Marlton, New Jersey office and remote for candidates outside commuting distance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years of claims management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Florida licensing is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims using well-developed action plans, investigating and gathering information to determine claim exposure and achieve timely resolution.
• Negotiate claim settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond professionally and promptly to requests for directions.
