Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Outlook and Needles Case Management software.
- Associate's degree (A. A. / A. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years of verifiable experience as a Claimant's Workers' Compensation Paralegal is required.
Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional client service by updating them on the status of their case through phone calls, text messaging, and emails.
- Reviewing documents to ensure accuracy.
- Keeping thorough documentation in the case management system.
- Manage the retrieval and processing of medical records.
- Maintaining physical custody of the file and keeping it organized and updated appropriately.
- Providing professional assistance to the attorney assigned to the file.
