About The Position

They are seeking an attorney to join their Workers' Compensation team in Raleigh, NC. Remote/hybrid options will be considered after training and integration. Associates gain hands-on experience in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception to trial, along with direct client contact. Requirements

• 1-5 years of practice experience.
• Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina or have pending North Carolina bar exam results.
• Willingness to learn and work autonomously and within a team structure.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Initiative and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
