About The Position

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Workers Compensation Assistant Underwriter to join a dynamic department of professionals. This role is a replacement position and offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic department of professionals. The successful candidate will play a key role in quoting new and renewal business for workers' compensation accounts across a wide range of binding markets. This is a fully remote position available to candidates residing in California or Arizona.

Requirements

• Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of high-volume binding market experience in workers' compensation.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools (details to be discussed during the interview process).
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Must reside in California or Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Quote new and renewal workers' compensation business across binding markets.
• Manage accounts ranging in size from $1,000 to $100,000.
• Collaborate with a team of underwriters to ensure timely and accurate processing of policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with binding markets, leveraging access to over 25 markets.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually, based on experience.
