About The Position

The Workday HCM Configurator/QA will provide business process configuration and QA, reporting development, issue troubleshooting, end user support and training, and data management in support of maintaining Workday as a best-in-class employee experience forward platform. This role will partner with the other team members, IT, business partners, vendors, and business leaders to effectively meet the HR technology needs of the organization.

Requirements

Minimum two-years of Workday HCM experience required (HCM modules: Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Onboarding, Recruiting).
Experience with gathering requirements, configuring, and testing Workday HCM modules.
Experience with configuration and support of Workday business processes and Workday reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

Background knowledge of HCM concepts (FLSA, WTPA, etc.) is preferred.
Passion for analyzing complex business processes, understanding the details, and providing solutions to everyday business problems.
Ability to learn quickly, build and retain a functional knowledge base.

Responsibilities

Research, diagnose and resolve configuration issues.
Manage the configuration and maintenance of HCM processes in Workday.
Gather requirements, coordinate implementation, and support functionalities within Workday HCM.
Assist with Workday Support case creation and resolution.
Perform QA for changes configured by peer configurators.
Partner with the business and Workday Configuration HCM Specialist to develop end-to-end testing strategy.
Produce test documentation, such as test approaches, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and other related items aligned with Workday methodologies and Core Specialty IT processes.
Partner with stakeholders to develop business requirements documents, functional specification documents, change request documents, and QA documents.
Support major Workday HCM releases by researching new functionalities.
Support other Workday Operations projects and compliance activities.
