This role involves defining project scopes and objectives based on user needs and system requirements, translating business needs into system specifications, and participating in project leadership. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will provide technical project management, lead implementations and upgrades, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. They will also document and drive best practices, and provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts. The position is responsible for the software maintenance, administration, and development lifecycle for Enterprise Applications, including configuration, documentation, and management of Foundational Data Model technical processes. Key responsibilities include testing and planning for Workday quarterly releases, collaborating with Finance functional areas on testing, staying updated on Finance Workday enhancements, and analyzing learnings from peer groups and professional networks. The role also involves assisting in developing training curriculum and conducting training sessions on Workday Report Writer, supporting mass data loads (EIBs), proactively identifying and correcting errors in Workday business processes or data configuration, and troubleshooting complex issues. The analyst will serve as a liaison between Business and Finance, supporting systems and leveraging technology solutions. They will work with functional leads to create functional requirements, assist with configuration activities, lead continuous improvement cycles for business processes, and perform testing to ensure system requirements are met. Management of Adaptive planning security, configuration, and integrations is also a responsibility.
