About The Position

This role involves working on contract/offer automation for 14 countries, requiring global setup experience. The consultant will also be involved in the implementation of Workday Journeys, initially supporting a phase 1 rollout for EMEA alongside a Workday partner, and then taking on the global rollout of Journeys. The position requires detailed configuration and implementation, not just dashboarding.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience, specifically Workday Recruiting and Journeys.
• Strong proficiency in Workday Onboarding, Workday Docs, calculated fields, business process framework (BPF), and notification/document generation setup.
• Familiarity with global or regional compliance needs for employment contracts and digital signatures.
• Strong requirement-gathering skills to translate HR policies into automated system workflows.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize Workday Recruiting subprocesses, including Offer, Employment Agreement, and Onboarding steps.
• Build and update offer letters and employment contracts using Workday Docs and calculated fields to inject real-time data tokens (compensation, job profiles, and locations).
• Set up multi-level internal approval chains and manage security permission domains for sensitive document visibility.
• Maintain seamless integrations with external signing platforms (such as DocuSign) for on-screen candidate execution.
• Troubleshoot generation errors, test complex condition rules, and ensure seamless data handoff from pre-hire to active worker profiles.
• Build, test, and maintain personalized employee journeys using Workday’s drag-and-drop builder and pre-built templates.
• Connect Workday tasks, external links, and third-party applications to streamline moments that matter (such as onboarding, manager transitions, and role changes).
• Target specific journeys based on location, job level, department, or demographic data.
• Partner with internal communications, HR business partners, and leadership to digitize training, policy rollouts, and employee engagement campaigns.
