About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Workato Solution Architect to join our team. This role is 100% remote and focuses on designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions, with a strong emphasis on Workday Financials and billing systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in integration architecture, solution design, and leading large-scale transformation programs. You will be responsible for architecting and delivering robust, scalable, and efficient integrations across various business domains including Billing, Invoicing, Revenue, Accounting, and Workday Financials.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture and solution design.
• 3+ years of hands-on Workato experience, including architecture and complex enterprise integrations.
• Strong experience designing and implementing integrations with Workday Financials.
• Strong understanding of billing systems and revenue-related business processes.
• Experience working on billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, accounting, or financial transformation projects.
• Experience with Workday integration technologies/APIs, such as Workday REST/SOAP APIs, RaaS, Workday Web Services, and related integration mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, webhooks, OAuth, authentication, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with data transformation, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and error-handling frameworks.
• Experience leading integration architecture for large-scale migration or transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Workato certification or advanced Workato experience.
• Experience with Workday Financial Management implementations.
• Experience with billing platforms such as Zuora, Stripe, Chargebee, Salesforce Billing, Oracle BRM, SAP BRIM, or similar platforms.
• Experience with revenue recognition / ASC 606 processes.
• Experience integrating CRM, CPQ, subscription management, payment, ERP, and financial systems.
• Experience with event-driven and API-led integration architectures.
• Experience with financial data reconciliation and migration.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Experience providing technical leadership to distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise integration architecture and solutions using Workato.
• Lead the architecture and complex enterprise integrations, particularly with Workday Financials.
• Design and implement integrations for billing systems and revenue-related business processes.
• Oversee integration architecture for large-scale migration or transformation programs.
• Ensure understanding and application of SDLC, CI/CD, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support best practices.
• Communicate effectively and manage stakeholders throughout the integration lifecycle.
• Work across key business domains including Billing, Invoicing, Revenue, Accounting, and Workday Financials.
• Address typical use cases such as customer synchronization, product/plan data, subscription information, billing transactions, invoice creation, revenue recognition, accounting entries, payments, and financial reconciliation.
