Requirements

  • Associates degree in a related Technical discipline or Physical Science field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 4+ years of work planning experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance.
  • Successful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Provides planning of work week activities under the Work Control Program, which is utilized to plan and execute maintenance of plant equipment and construction activities in a safe, regulatory compliant, and efficient manner.
  • Guides the Work Control planning process by coordinating with representatives from all organizations necessary to safely conduct work activities at the site.
  • Functions as the single-point-of-contact for all issues and activities associated with the designated work week.
  • Performs inter-group coordination, provides an interface with management, and addresses specific issues that arise.
  • Works within the Work Control process and is responsible for development of the necessary planning products to support the program.
  • Implements policies, procedures and checks for current training of all personnel performing work.
  • Performs Work Week Scheduling and also acts as Applications Administrator for our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements and company policy.
  • Owns the Work Week Plan and authorizes all changes to the week’s scope for the execution week and the three weeks prior to execution week.
  • Reviews the Work Week Plan, ensuring it can be successfully executed, and gains approval from the Maintenance Manager.
  • Validates necessary logic ties, verifies that Preventive Maintenance activities are scheduled and completed according to program requirements, and ensures the schedule is appropriately levelized.
  • Functions as the single-point-of-contact during execution week.
  • Maintains/controls the “big picture” of all activities occurring during the week.
  • Closely monitors all facility impairments to ensure work is performed as scheduled and therefore returning the plant to full operation as soon as possible.
  • Serves as the central point of contact for the Daily Plan of the Day Meeting and Weekly Work Planning Meeting.
  • Compiles requests for Emergent and Routine work.
  • Assists in the performance of post-work week critique of significant evolutions.
  • Develops, publishes and presents performance indicators for the work week.
  • Ensures traceability control of critical system components, monitors any vendor-managed inventories and coordinate with plant shipping and receiving activities.
  • Performs the function of the Applications Administrator for the plant Maintenance and Scheduling software applications.
  • Controls data consistency and integrity, tracks of preventive maintenance activities in support of regulatory compliance requirements, and administration of Predictive, Preventive, and Corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ensures that maintenance activities performed in a high-quality, cost-efficient manner, ensuring budgetary compliance for the organization.
  • Incorporates measures to include in work packages that ensure compliance with safety and health programs.
  • May be assigned other duties as determined by management.
