About The Position

This is a part-time, on average 10 hours per week, position for Lackawanna College students only. As a work study, assistance will be provided within this designated department to college staff and peers. With confidentiality in mind, information will be shared with the correct parties and will work as a member of the team to increase coverage of the office as well as support the department through work on day-to-day tasks as well as projects or initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled at Lackawanna College
• Proficient interpersonal communication skills
• Maintain Confidentiality, as defined by Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) 34 CFR Part 99
• Ability to work Independently
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain office records and information
• Attention to detail
• Maintain and Inventory Lab Supplies

Responsibilities

• General administrative tasks such as: Filing and Organization, Typing and Note Taking, Taking Messages, Preparing Mailing, Preparing materials for events
• Stocking lab shelves and office supplies as needed
