About The Position

The Work and Family Programs Manager is responsible for day-to-day oversight of the organization's leave of absence program, workers compensation program and work accommodation process. This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Requirements

At least two years of experience in administration and oversight of employee work life programs or employee benefit programs.
Strong working knowledge of leave of absence law, workers compensation law and fundamentals of benefits administration.
Able to operate moderately complex computer programs and HRIS platforms.
Demonstrated ability to handle highly complex interpersonal situations with a high level of tact and diplomacy.
Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Able to handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines using time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver information in presentation form to various levels of employees.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred.
HR Certification (SHRM) preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for oversight of the Work and Family programs team, including but not limited to, interviewing, hiring, training and performance management.
Work closely with organization business partners to resolve employee issue related to leave of absences, workers compensation administration and workplace accommodations.
Oversee Leave of Absence program and ensure compliance with all Local, State and Federal Leave of Absence laws and regulations.
Act as the liaison between the organization and third party medical vendor for all workers compensation issues including accident follow up and accident claim management in coordination with third party administrator.
Lead the interactive process for new and current employees.
