Underwrite and process work comp audits including basic and simple multi-state audits. Process nonautomated work comp renewals and PCR’s. This role requires the ability to underwrite, process, and approve changes of audits for church/related ministry accounts that are of small to medium size, including simple multi-state, and/or easy to moderate complexity. The processor will accurately underwrite and process pro-rated, short rated, and final audits, and identify and interpret payroll information submitted from various sources. Collaboration with regional underwriters on basic employee classifications, experience modifications, and general audit questions, as well as with finance to ensure accuracy of insureds audit invoices and bills, is expected. The role also involves appropriately documenting all files so that other workers comp processors, underwriters, department and company management, and external auditors can identify and understand action taken with respect to audit information received from insureds. Effectively prioritizing, processing, and managing workflows within the region to meet or exceed established service standards for agents and policyholders is crucial. The processor will answer agent inquiries regarding class codes and audit procedures submitted via email or phone, appropriately work non-automated work comp renewals and PCR’s, and print and mail specifically requested audit forms. Other projects as assigned will also be part of the responsibilities.
