About The Position

The Work-Based Learning Teacher plays a critical role in advancing Learning Excellence by connecting classroom instruction to meaningful real-world career experiences that prepare students for future success. Through Respectful Relationships with students, families, employers, and community partners, and through Effective Communication across school and workplace settings, this position helps students develop the academic, professional, and interpersonal skills necessary for college, career, and life readiness. We seek an educator committed to Continuous Improvement who will expand opportunities for students, strengthen school-community partnerships, and support individualized pathways aligned to student interests, graduation goals, and workforce development needs. This is a 10-month position.
Requirements
- Valid New York State teacher certification in Business Education or similar area.
- Valid New York State Coordinator of Work-Based Learning Extension or significant progress toward gaining the extension.
