Roper Corporation is seeking Work-Based Learning Assembly Operators for high school students age 17 and older who are currently enrolled in an approved Work-Based Learning program through their school. This is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on manufacturing experience while balancing school responsibilities. Eligible students will work part-time up to 20 hours per week, based on school schedules and availability. Positions may be available on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. The Work-Based Learning Assembly Operator supports production by assembling range/oven cooking appliances and related components according to established production schedules and quality standards. This role involves moving parts and materials, using air tools, plugging wires, and completing assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 17 years old
  • Must be currently enrolled in a high school Work-Based Learning program
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Assemble cooking appliances and/or components according to production requirements
  • Move parts and materials throughout the work area
  • Use air tools and other equipment safely and effectively
  • Plug wires and assemble components accurately
  • Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
  • Maintain productivity and attendance expectations
